The Short Sale Doctors have been in the short sale practice for a relatively short time….
Although involved in short sales for many years, Bill Syrios and Kenny Weaver only recently–January of 2009–put together their experience to form a company dedicated to the processing of short sales and partnering with agents to serve homeowners.
They are joined by Jackie Zito, Greg Stephens and Tammy Wendt who oversee the processing and negotiations with lenders and their assistant, Gina Ledesma.
We also partner with highly skilled real estate agents to facilitate transactions. It is our partnership with real estate agent that helps us to fully serve the interests of both the sellers and buyers in the transactions.
Likely the foreclosures that so many homeowners are facing will only get worse in the next few years. Short sales will continue to be a very viable option for many of those who are underwater on their mortgage or can not continue to make their loan payments. What is sometimes not understood is that every short sale that is submitted to a lender MUST have a buyer for it to be taken seriously and for the lender to begin their processing.
Our buyer is Stewardship Properties which began in 1989 as a real estate investment company. About 60% of the time Stewardship closes on the property and the rest of the time a new buyer is found. When the new buyer is identified, Stewardship steps out of the transaction. This process is explained in How It Works and with greater detail in the report that we will email to you (see upper right).

Bill Syrios
Married to Teresa, they have 4 sons. Began Stewardship Properties in 1989 and has been in real estate investment full-time for 18 years. Kenny Weaver
Was a plumber for 20 years in Las Vegas. In 2005 he decided to “plunge” into real estate investing. So, he sold his house in Vegas (does Kenny have great timing or what!?) and moved to Eugene. In August of 2008 Bill and Kenny struck up a partnership and a few months later began partnering with Realtors via The Short Sale Doctors.
